Tutoring for Veterans

Veterans transitioning to civilan life and either beginning or returning to college often express anxiety about being prepared for academic life. Having been out of school for several years these veterans sometimes need to brush up on academic skills. The Friends of Veterans New York, in addition to awarding cash awards, would like to offer free tutoring services to veterans attending Queensborough Community College. Your contribution of $10 to the Friends of Veterans New York can provide 1 hour of quality tutoring to our veterans. Please help our veterans to succeed in their academic endeavors.
